You make a great point about sci-fi and fantasy! I agree, I now mainly read sci-fi and fantasy novels written by Black, POC, and authors from other marginalized groups. I'm never going back! I'm also beginning to tune out many films and TV shows with predominantly white casts.

I didn't check out the Bass Reeves series because it was produced by Tyler Sheridan, who created the Yellowstone franchise. I'm waiting for a Bass Reeves series created FUBU. But I did check out that Netflix Western starring Regina King and Idris Elba, The Harder They Fall. It was very good.
