On Sunday, July 21st, President Biden withdrew from running for reelection. His decision caused a breathtaking alteration in the tenor of the 2024 presidential election.

Just days prior, during the bizarre freak show that was the Republican National Convention (RNC), ex-President Donald Trump’s base was jubilant.

Having survived an assassination attempt, Trump’s MAGA cult and the GOP were more galvanized than ever behind their presidential nominee. The entire RNC’s central theme was bashing who the party believed would be Trump’s opponent in the election: President Biden.

Countless attacks were made against President Biden, criticizing his age, as well as questioning his cognitive fitness to perform the duties of the Office Of The President.

At this specific point and time, the Democratic Party seemed to be in disarray, with many party leaders debating whether President Biden should seek reelection.

It seemed Trump had all the momentum, while the Democrats appeared to be coming apart at the seams, just a mere 100+ days before the election.
