On Tuesday, July 7th, yet another shocking act of vitriolic racism was caught on smartphone video.

At an upscale California restaurant, an Asian-American family celebrating a relative’s birthday was verbally accosted by a white male sitting at a nearby table.

The man began shouting obscenities and hurling anti-Asian slurs at them, telling the family “Trump’s going to f*#k you,” and insisting “they need to leave.”

A member of the family recorded part of the man’s racist rant before a waiter kicked the him out of the restaurant.

The man did not remain anonymous for long.

The recording of the video went viral later that same day; intrepid reporters discovered the man’s identity to be Michael Lofthouse, the CEO of cloud-computing company Solid8 based in San Francisco.

On cue, Lofthouse promptly shut down all his personal social media accounts and issued an apology pungently reeking of insincerity to a local television station.
