One of my favorite genres of entertainment is science fiction. Science fiction is a speculative genre that asks the simple-yet-profound question:
What if?
The ways science fiction explores this question has captured my imagination since childhood and is a source of inspiration.
In fact, my love of the genre led me to create my podcast, EYE ON SCI-FI.
Years ago, on the former social media platform known as Twitter, I became acquainted with Joe Mallozzi, the showrunner and head writer of the popular sci-fi TV show Stargate SG-1.
Joe is a very talented writer who is also a charming and refreshingly down-to-earth guy. He generously consented to be a guest on my podcast.
During our chat, Joe revealed an effective professional philosophy he credits as a main contributor to the success of Stargate SG-1.
When asked to elaborate on this philosophy, Joe explained it is called “LTS.”
LTS stands for “Life’s Too Short.” The core of the philosophy is to avoid working with toxic people.
