Telling the truth about how this country - in this case, its medical community - has harmed and exploited Black people is not missing the mark. It's stating facts. Glad you're comfortable with taking the vaccine and know doctors and scientists who are trying to do better, but that doesn't excuse the racism of the medical profession - and it doesn't guarantee that same community now, suddenly, has the best interests of Black people at heart.
