Oprah is no different than other ultra-rich, white celebrities who also constantly flaunt their wealth as well. See the Kardashians and rocket-ship-joyriding Jeff Bezos. The significant difference is Oprah has helped A LOT of people with her platform and wealth over the years as well. Like starting a damn national book club influencing more people to read, building a school for girls in Africa, and gifting an entire audience comprised of educators a car - to name only a few instances out of countless others. The only difference is she is a Black woman. All these "Oh, how dare she flaunt her wealth!" responses are rooted in racism and white supremacy. She's Black so she "doesn't know her place." It's so transparent and pathetic. GTFOH.
