My faith in humanity continues to take a hit. It's horrible what happened to you. Rape culture in this country is endemic. The way Louis C.K. has been able to continue having a career despite admitting to his sexual misconduct is exhibit A. The fact many of his fellow comedians support him is also very telling. It's disgusting and speaks volumes about our society and toxic masculinity. I'm glad you weren't deterred from your chosen profession by what happened to you and I wish you all the very best.
