If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend, Homicide: Life On The Street, although it's very hard to find since it's not available via streaming due to rights issues. It stars the late acting genius Andre Braugher in one of the very few police dramas I feel dosen't glamorize policing or police officers. It's also based on a work by David Simon. Homicide is the only and last cop drama I watched in its entirety. It's a brilliant series that doesn't get enough appreciation.
