I couldn't agree more about the futility of trying to "convert" racists. Here's another point: Black people are not white folks' "antiracist" educators. It's infuriating that not only are we the targets of racism and have to cope with its effects on our lives, but white people expect us to educate them on how not to be racist and be a decent human being. NOPE! They can figure out how to be "antiracist" all on their own - unless they are willing to pay us for that mental and intellectual labor. That's a standard we should all demand.
