I agree. Freelancing isn't for everyone - but neither is working a standard corporate 9 to 5. It's great if you have a job at a great company that pays you what you're worth and you have great co-workers. But sadly this isn't the case for the majority. Often, in an office setting, you have power-tripping bosses, office politics, favortisim/neoptism, and if you're a member of a marignalized group, macro and microaggressions. Again, self-employment doesn't work for everyone, but neither does being a corporate worker bee. What we need is a balanced view of both - and we don't have that.
