Black Americans Are Hanging Up Their Capes

A consequence of the 2024 election

As the election results came in on November 5th, a familiar feeling of dread washed over me. Once again, the United States Of America elected Donald Trump as president.

And once again, the demographic that overwhelmingly voted against its own self-interests was white women.

However, they were not alone. The only demographics who voted for pro-democracy by an outstanding margin were Black women (91%) followed closely by Black men (77%).

Black men, who contrary to false narratives disseminated by mainstream media, did not flee the Democratic party in droves.

The rest of America decided being a convicted felon, rapist, con artist, liar, and aspiring despot wasn’t a deal breaker for holding the highest elected office in the country.

This alone speaks volumes about the true morals and values of the United States Of America.

During this election cycle, the media gave prominent coverage to groups such as Republican Voters Against Trump, Latinos Con Harris-Walz, and White Women: Answer The Call. The…
